Health for the Holidays

CrossRoads Corporation is thrilled to announce its annual Health for the Holidays event, a joyous occasion bringing festive cheer and information and resources to the Grier Heights community.

Saturday, December 14th, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at the Grier Heights Community Center, offering a memorable drive-thru experience filled with holiday magic and community support.

This year’s event will feature:

Santa and Hugo:

Delight the whole family with a visit from Santa and Hugo, the Charlotte Hornets mascot.

Skating Rink and Entertainment:

For all to enjoy, along with music and fun hosted by DJ Mikko and Mr. Excitement (Brandon Brown).

Community Resources and Giveaways:

Over 20 local vendors, including healthcare providers such as RAO Community Health, will provide resources, flu and COVID vaccines, and more.

DIY Home Repair Lessons:

The "Strengthen Our Streets" (SOS) initiative will offer interactive home repair lessons in partnership with DPR Construction.

Toys, Coats, and Holiday Essentials:

Thanks to partners like Corning and Old Navy, families will receive toys, coats, and household items to brighten their holidays.

Special Guests and Highlights:

J.C. Horn, Carolina Panthers Cornerback: J.C. Horn will join the festivities, interacting with attendees and promoting the event on social media. He is also sponsoring a gaming system giveaway.

Christmas Photo Booth: Families can capture the spirit of the season with festive holiday photos.

Food vendors, including Ms. Johnnie Mae’s food truck and It’s Popping CLT (Panther inspired popcorn), will offer delicious treats, ensuring a festive atmosphere for all.
