Assistance to individuals experiencing severe financial need due to specific unexpected, unavoidable emergencies or hardships

Applicants must be a resident of the Grier Heights community to be eligible to apply. Eligible applicants may receive a maximum of one grant during the calendar year for which CrossRoads has funding.

Beginning in 2020, CrossRoads Corporation is offering support for individuals and families who are experiencing financial hardship due to COVID-19. Financial assistance is available for help with rental assistance, childcare, transportation, food/household expenses and utilities. Income eligible households, with a verifiable loss of income—related to the COVID-19 pandemic—and a demonstrated need, may be eligible to receive financial assistance up to $750. CrossRoads will pay vendors, landlords, mortgage, or utility companies, etc. directly. CrossRoads will distribute funds on a first-come, first-served basis until available funding is expended. CrossRoads may inquire if applicants have sought assistance from other programs when considering a request for assistance.
